New Zealand Immigration Lawyers Limited team includes former board members of the NZ Association for Migration Investment Inc.
In 1986, our founder, Alex Lee was one of the first immigration lawyers delivering immigration workshops and services to Hong Kong, China, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia , Singapore and Thailand. These were delivered in partnership with Investoc Trade Consultants Limited. Immigration New Zealand, ANZ, Challenge Realty, Markham & Partners and the NZ Embassies/High Commissions also attended as additional partners. Investco Trade Consultants established branch and representative offices in all these countries with the regional office based in Hong Kong. Later, Alex returned to head the international business law and Asian practice departments of two major Auckland CBD law firms. He continued to assist many immigrants to settle and establish both their families and businesses in NZ successfully. He later left to establish his own legal practice, Alex Lee Lawyers Limited and to pursue his screen business interests. Alex Lee lawyers Limited remains a sister law firm providing legal services other than immigration advice. |
Alex recently became a Fellow in the prestigious Edmund Hillary fellowship. The Edmund Hillary Fellowship was set up as a pilot programme of 400 visas for truly innovative entrepreneurs to enter New Zealand. New Zealand Fellows are also appointed in recognition of the global impact of their work. This programme is expected to run between to be run between 2017 and 2021. After three years, applicants can apply for Permanent Residence Visas provided they have met all the requirements. Alex has been assisting a number of such international Fellows with their visa applications.
